At some point in my career I worked on a music video for the studio Blind and had no idea what I was doing. RISD's integration of Adobe products in their curriculum at the time wasn't a priority for the school, and I was left figuring it out on the job. Sometimes this is a good thing.
I mistakenly used the Photoshop lasso tool, the one that only makes straight lines, as a way to cut things out. This was mostly because I couldn't really use the pen tool well. As a result, I made these angular styled wolves for the vide because I couldn't do it "right". People dug the edgier aesthetic, so I felt creatively enabled to make a mess.
