Lauren Indovina is an Emmy Award-winning Director, Artist, and Designer working at the intersection of AI, storytelling, and visual art. She is the Founder of House of Indovina, an experimental creative platform exploring emergent AI collaboration and new narrative structures.
Indovina’s career spans fine art, visual effects, animation, live action, and branding — blending traditional craft with experimental technology. Four of her films have been acquired by the permanent motion collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), and her sculptures have been exhibited at the Victoria and Albert Museum. She has directed Super Bowl commercials, had her designs on display in public installations on Rodeo Drive and Times Square, and has worked with global brands including Apple, Amazon, Google, and Nike. She also served as concept artist for Beyoncé’s Black Is King.
In 2023, Indovina directed an AICP Award-winning short for Coinbase, leading to a presentation alongside Michel Gondry, Michael Gracey, and Warren Fu on an experimental initiative at Partizan Studios exploring the intersection of art and technology.
Her journey began at industry giants Pixar, Disney, and Laika Entertainment. While initially pursuing a career in feature animation, she discovered the world of advertising and motion design—quickly establishing herself as a sought-after designer and director in short-form media.
Her career soared when she secured a staff position at the studio Blind in Los Angeles, where she clinched her first Emmy. Blind soon relocated her to lead their newly established NYC office. She later joined the illustrious PSYOP, where she spent a decade as a staff director and designer.
In 2024, Indovina was appointed President of the Artificial Intelligence Jury for the ADC 103rd Annual Awards. In May, 2025, she was a featured speaker at the Executive Creative Summit at The One Club for Creativity where she presented her talk ART IS DEAD. LONG LIVE THE ARTIST: Creative Leadership in the Age of Intelligent Tools. She recently was appointed to the Art Directors Club (ADC) Advisory Committee.
A graduate with honors from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), Indovina has published on motion design, judged for AICP, ADC, and The One Club, and has been a featured artist in publications including Computer Arts Magazine, Emmys Magazine, Autodesk, and Creative Review.
As of 2025, Indovina continues to expand her work in generative art, speculative filmmaking, and narrative worldbuilding through House of Indovina and its companion YouTube channel. Her current focus is on advancing experimental films, visual systems, and written projects at the frontier of human–machine collaboration.
She is currently seeking aligned partners, brands, and collaborators to join her in shaping these projects. If you—or someone you know—is working at the intersection of creativity, AI, and storytelling, and is ready to build something bold, please reach out.
